Awami Itehaad Party (AIP) on Wednesday announced jailed leader and party chief Engineer Abdul Rashid as its candidate for Lok Sabha polls from Baramulla constituency.
Addressing a press conference, AIP spokesman as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that the party is not going to support anyone, but will field its own candidates.
"Er Rashid is our candidate from north Kashmir and the candidates for other parliamentary constituencies will be announced soon," he said
